In mid 1994, Susan commenced business as The Finishing Touch (TFT) from her home in Melbourne. She hired her sisters and her Mum (!!) as her first employees, and set about providing home unpacking for busy corporate executives. From these modest beginnings the company now employs 200 staff in Australia and continues to grow strongly, expanding its range of helpful services in all Australian states. TFT is acknowledged as one of the largest and most successful mature-age employers in the nation. The company also employs 50 staff at eight locations in New Zealand. Susan's extensive world travels, corporate career with Orix Corporation in Japan and working with Bob Ansett at Budget Rent-A-Car have given her very strong ideals. TFT teams are dedicated to exceptional client service, quality, and continual innovation. Finishing Touch teams have now completed more than 50,000 assignments in Australia in the 20 years since inception and won more than 20 major business and government awards for their commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
